Toyo Engineering gets major contract from IOCL

Toyo Engineering India Private Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation, has been awarded a contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) of a new 2.5 MMTPA Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU) that IOCL is planning in Vadodara, Gujarat, Western India.

One of India’s largest public sector companies, IOCL, is supervised by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (Government of India), and Gujarat Refinery is one of its main oil refineries.

The refinery is now planning to expand its existing refinery from 13.7 MMTPA to 18 MMTPA in an effort to produce high-value products more efficiently. More than 300 billion yen has been spent on this enlargement project overall.
