Azad Engineering has started a project by laying the cornerstone for a special manufacturing facility for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan (MHI). The relationship between Azad and Mitsubishi began with a few machines roughly ten years ago, developed into an exclusive bay in their current manufacturing plant, and has now taken on a new phase with the construction of an entirely new manufacturing facility for MHI.
Nagayasu, Chairman and Managing Director, K. Tanaka, Deputy CEO of Mitsubishi, M. Hasegawa, Deputy General Manager of Takasago Blade and Combustion Parts Manufacturing, MHI, Japan, and Raja Ram Reddy, Engineering Head, MHI, Japan, jointly announced the start of construction on the $20 million plant at Tunikibollaram near Medchal, Hyderabad, which is expected to be operational by 2024.
