    An existing synthetic organic chemicals plant in MIDC Taloja, Raigad district, Maharashtra is being expanded to scale up production of Poly Glycols (PEG's), Polysorbates of all grades and Non-ionic emulsifiers, along with setting up of a new R&D laboratory. The proposal, valued at about Rs. 98.7 Million, is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Environmental Clearance.

    Rs.7453 Million Amalgamated Yekona I & II OC Phase-I Coal Mine Expansion Project in Chandrapur, Maharashtra

    Maharashtra From 5000 Million to 49999 Million

    An existing opencast coal mine in Warora taluka, Chandrapur district is being expanded from a sanctioned capacity of 3.85 MTPA to 4.125 MTPA, representing the final tranche of a previously approved 50% capacity enhancement. The project involves land of over 1679 Ha (non-forest), diversion of a nala, irrigation canal, HT line and PWD road, and construction of a dedicated railway siding (expected to be commissioned by March 2027) alongside road transport. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Environmental Clearance for the expansion.

    A proposed integrated green data centre park with 750 MW capacity is planned across Panvel, Khalapur, Taloja and Bhokharpada in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The facility will mandate 51 per cent green power usage and dedicated power infrastructure with two incoming feeders from independent sources. Operations are expected to commence by 2028, with the Maharashtra government facilitating approvals and fiscal incentives.

    A new 95 KLPD distillery is proposed at Kada Sakhar in Beed district, Maharashtra, to produce rectified spirit/ENA/ethanol from syrup and B-heavy/C-heavy molasses, along with CBG and potash-rich powder as by-products. The project includes a 2.5 MW biomass-based captive power unit and is currently under examination at the ToR stage with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Construction has not yet commenced as the proposal is still undergoing regulatory review.

    A synthetic organic chemicals manufacturing facility in Pune district is being expanded to raise overall production capacity from about 106400 TPA to 158000 TPA. The expansion covers a diverse product basket including formaldehyde, paraformaldehyde, methanol derivatives and other specialty organic chemicals. The proposal is currently under examination by the environment ministry for fresh Terms of Reference.
