A new grain-based ethanol plant is planned to be established in Pedda Dhanwada village, Rajoli Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal district, Telangana, with a production capacity of 200 KLPD and a 4.5 MW co-generation power plant. The project is estimated to cost Rs.2206.4 million and construction activity is expected to begin in July 2023 and end by July 2025. The proposed ethanol plant will contribute to the biofuel sector, create jobs, and provide a new market for farmers. Environmental clearance for the project is currently underway.
