Executive Summary

A new fractional distillation plant is planned in Punjab to manufacture industrial solvents and petrochemicals by the fractional distillation method. The project will produce industrial solvents/thinners/reducers, special boiling point solvents, de-aromatized solvents, aromatic solvents, mineral oil-20/50 with a capacity of 92,000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.56.5 million. The proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Forests, and work will commence after obtaining clearance.
