Executive Summary

A new biomedical waste treatment facility is planned to be built in Pargodih, Jamua, Giridih, Jharkhand. The project will cost around Rs.31 million and will have a capacity of 1800 TPA. The detailed project report will be presented for final environmental clearance after receiving the first stage of clearance from the Ministry of Environment and Forests. Construction will begin in August 2023 and is expected to be completed by December 2023, subject to state pollution control board's consent.
