Vedanta (Aluminium Business) has entered an agreement with Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals (GACL) for exploring various business opportunities in the areas of Caustic-Chlorine and other allied businesses.

The aim of the MoU is to add the potentials of both the businesses of Vedanta Aluminum and GACL, by adopting a collaborative approach.

Both the companies desire to explore the opportunities for co-operation in greater detail so that resources can be pooled together in a mutually beneficial manner.

With the signing of this agreement, both the companies have, in-principle, agreed to explore business opprtunities together either in the form of a joint venture or through contractual arrangements of mutual interest.
