UK-based Yotel plans hotels in cities and airports in India

Infrastructure  -  Feb 16,2024  -

London-based hotel group Yotel is planning to foray into India, and is in talks with operators of airports in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The group is planning to be present both at the city centre and the airport of the cities.

Yotel has three distinct brands - Yotel, YotelAir and YotelPad, and the first two brands are likely to be introduced in India. The focus on India is owing to the fast-growing tourism market.

Yotel operates on the asset light model, whereby it supports its partners in growing the business based on a model of hotels with a 24x7 lounge, chillout zone and health and fitness centres, and connects with the local community with speciality eateries and other attractions.

The Group has grown from four properties to 32 opened and signed hotels representing over 7000 keys globally.
