Himachal Pradesh government run SVJN Ltd. will establish a 100 MW solar power project in Gujarat.
SJVN Green Energy Ltd. has bagged a Rs. 550 crore order by The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd(GUVNL), through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
SVJN will build a 100 MW project at Rs. 2.63 per unit on a build, own and operate basis anywhere in India.
The project is expected to generate about 252 million units in the first year and the cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years shall be about 5,866 million units.
The project is expected to be commissioned within 18 months from signing the power purchase agreement, which shall be effective for a 25 years period.
