Spacenet Enterprises India Ltd and Modern Fuel Technologies have unveiled a pioneering joint venture to spearhead Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) initiatives across India.
This strategic partnership aims to meet rising energy demands as India becomes a global economic powerhouse.
Executive Director of Spacenet, Prakash Dasigi, and General Director of Modern Gas Technologies, Aleksander Sorokin, emphasized the venture's significance in boosting India's LNG infrastructure and promoting cleaner energy.
The project will roll out in phases: 20 LNG gas stations by FY 2025-27, with plans to expand to 180 stations nationwide.
By retrofitting heavy commercial vehicles to use LNG, the initiative will enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
With global LNG demand projected to grow significantly, this venture marks a major step towards a sustainable energy future for India.
