Hospitality and Healthcare  -  Nov 10,2023  -

As part of an increase in its investments in India, the Netherlands-based company Royal Philips, also known as Philips, opened a new innovation facility in Bengaluru.

Roy Jakobs, the Chief Executive Officer of Royal Philips, stated that the company will keep making investments in India despite not disclosing the precise investment amounts.

Other significant centres of the $19 billion corporation are dispersed throughout the nation, including commercial teams in Gurugram, global business services in Chennai, and a healthcare innovation centre in Pune.

The newly-opened 650,000-square-foot campus can accommodate over 5,000 professionals working on innovative health technologies aimed at improving patient experiences, achieving better health outcomes, enhancing staff experiences, and lowering the cost of care.

The latest centre of Philips in Bengaluru marks a significant landmark in the company’s global footprint and plays a vital role in “revolutionising” healthcare in India and beyond.
