NTPC Renewable Energy (NTPC REL) has floated a tender for land and EHV transmission system package for development of ISTS-connected solar PV projects (upto 800 MW) at Solapur in Maharashtra.

Arrangement of leasehold or freehold land (five acres/MW) in Solapur region is part of the land related works.

It also includes approach road till plant boundary including any interconnection between plots, topography survey for land parcels, geotech Investigation for transmission system only as required, fencing of the offered land including entry/exit gates (minimum 2 per plot) including security cabins for the solar project.

Design and construction of EHV transmission system till grid interconnection point (Switchyard of NTPC Solapur) as per technical specifications including arranging for the 'Right of Way' of transmission system, and terminal bay at interconnecting end, supply of mandatory spares for transmission line and related activities are all included in the scope of work.

The bid submission end date is 16 January, 2024.
