NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has announced an invitation for bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 300 MW ground-mounted solar power project linked to the interstate transmission system (ISTS) near NTPC Anta in Rajasthan.

Bids must be submitted by December 12, 2024. The project will be financed through NTPC REL's own funds or borrowings.

The project's scope includes securing land and managing the entire process of design, EPC, manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, and commissioning of the solar facility.

The selected bidder will also be responsible for developing the power evacuation system to transport renewable energy to the NTPC Anta substation, as well as establishing a terminal bay at the substation.

As per the tender requirements, bidders must pay Rs 22,500 for the bidding document and provide a bid security of Rs 200 million. Additionally, bidders should have an average annual turnover of at least Rs 2.4 billion over the last three financial years and a net worth equivalent to their paid-up share capital by the end of the previous financial year.

To qualify, bidders must have completed at least one electrical substation with a voltage of 33 kV or higher, including circuit breakers and power transformers, with a minimum operational period of one year.
