Several North American Companies have signed MoUs with the Karnataka Government during the Karnataka Investors Summit to invest Rs 236 crore in India.

Among the top players, Lam Research has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Karnataka government to invest Rs 236 crore.

Apart from this, The International Battery Company (IBC), renowned manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries, signed an MoU for Rs 390 crore investment project  which is expected to generate 300 direct employment opportunities.

Meanwhile, Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd has also signed an MoU to invest 175 crore. Wipro G Healthcare Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an investment of 100 crores which is expected to boost the healthcare in the State.

These investments by the North American industries showcase the collaboration and interest of the North American industries in Karnataka's development.
