Nexzu Mobility has announced its intention of establishing a Smart EV Park in Gujarat.
The facility which will be set up at a cost of Rs 5,000 crore is expected to create over 5,000 new jobs in the next decade.
The company has signed an MoU with the State government in this regard.
Chintamani Sardesai, Business Head of Nexzu Mobility said that the park will provide assistance to OEMs manufacturing both commercial and passenger vehicles, as well as battery manufacturers.
The planned park is expected to develop into a major hub that provides all-inclusive solutions for owners, operators, professionals, and consumers of electric vehicles (EVs).
The industrial park will include housing, educational and healthcare facilities, shared R&D centres, common testing units, and manufacturing facilities that are ready to move into. Professionals in electronics, battery production, powertrains, and other EV components will also have access to training facilities at the park.
Nexzu Mobility also highlighted its commitment to supporting start-up entities lacking infrastructure or expertise in mechanical engineering and operations.
