Khanij Bidesh India Ltd (KABIL) and Oil India Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at NALCO’s corporate headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

KABIL is a joint venture among three government enterprises: NALCO (National Aluminium Company), Hindustan Copper Ltd., and Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Ltd. The venture operates under the Ministry of Mines and focuses on overseas mineral asset development.

The pact was signed by the parties to find "international critical mineral opportunities" and to conduct "comprehensive due diligence" in identifying and exploiting potential critical mineral opportunities and to co-invest in potential critical mineral projects, according to the press release.

The MoU with Oil India aims to enhance collaboration in mineral exploration and related projects. This partnership combines KABIL's expertise in securing mineral resources with Oil India’s experience in exploration and production.
