Lemon Tree Hotels has signed its latest property in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, and will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the hospitality chain. It is expected to open in FY27.
Lemon Tree Hotel, Kalaburagi, Karnataka will feature 72 rooms, restaurant, banquet hall, a meeting room, a swimming pool, and other public areas. Kalaburagi Airport is approx. 14 km while the Kalaburagi Railway Station is six km away, and with road connectivity, the hotel is accessible by both public and private transport.
Regarding this expansion in Karnataka, the new addition will complement its eight existing and one upcoming properties in the state, further enhancing commitment to ''providing exceptional hospitality and experiences in this beautiful region'', according to CEO, Vilas Pawar.
Kalaburagi, a historical city in northern Karnataka is known for its architectural landmarks like the Gulbarga Fort and Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah. Other places of importance include Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, as well as the Buddha Vihara, a Buddhist temple and spiritual centre.
