Laurus Labs has inaugurated its new research and development (R&D) facility at IKP Knowledge Park, Telangana. The total investment incurred for setting up the new R&D centre is Rs 250 crore.

The facility was inaugurated by State Minister of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce and Legislative Affairs Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Founder & CEO Laurus Labs, Dr.Satyanarayana Chava, along with other senior management team.

The 2,00,000 sq. ft. facility is located at Plot No DS15, Kolthur Shamirpet Medcha andl is equipped with modern laboratories and infrastructure

The cutting edge facility, as its fifth R&D centre, is designed to foster innovation and would enable the pharmaceutical and biotech company to develop ground breaking solutions that will address unmet medical needs.

Further, it will support the CDMO business, and will facilitate job opportunities for over 800 people.
