Power Generation  -  Apr 12,2024  -

Juniper Green Energy has successfully completed the Jalkot solar power project in Maharashtra, adding 105 MW of solar power to the region's energy grid.

This achievement underscores Juniper Green Energy's commitment to advancing India's renewable energy sector. Notably, the project was commissioned nearly 9 months ahead of schedule, showcasing the company's dedication to efficient project execution.

Under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with MSEDCL, the Jalkot solar power project will provide sustainable power generation while emphasizing economic value and environmental stewardship. Additionally, it will supply power to approximately 38,085 households, contributing to the state's transition to more sustainable energy sources.

Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, expressed gratitude for the team's efforts, stating, "The early commencement of operations of this project is a testament to our team's exceptional work.
