Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy reviewed the progress of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase II with senior officials of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) department.

During the meeting, Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) Managing Director NVS Reddy made a detailed presentation regarding the proposed metro alignments, station locations, and other features of the second phase.

MD NVS Reddy informed the Chief Minister that DPRs for all proposed metro corridors are in the final stages, awaiting the traffic study results from the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) for the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area.

The DPRs will be submitted for Government of India approval after ensuring alignment with CMP requirements.

The Airport Metro alignment has been updated to include Aramghar and the new High Court location on NH-44 before reaching Shamshabad Airport, as decided in an earlier meeting.
