Hisense, a manufacturer of electronic appliances, has partnered with EPACK Durable (EDL) to set up a manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, to make air conditioners and other home appliances.
The manufacturing plant is projected to have a production capacity of one million room air conditioners (RACs) by FY28, with production scheduled to begin in June 2025.
This partnership will not only enhance its manufacturing capabilities but also prropel it to make outstanding products that resonate with Indian consumer, allowing to strengthen its presence in the country.
To further its localisation efforts, Hisense targets to export the locally manufactured appliances to key international strategic regions.
This collaboration thus opens new opportunities for growth in both domestic and global markets.
