Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GSFC) announced the commencement of commercial production at its newly commissioned Hydroxylamine Sulphate Crystal (FIX Crystal) manufacturing plant in Fertilizernagar, Vadodara.

"We would like to inform that the Company has commissioned a manufacturing plant at Fertilizernagar, Vadodara for production of Hydroxylamine Sulphate Crystal (FIX Crystal)," according to a stock exchange filing.

The facility has an annual production capacity of 6,600 metric tonne. "The commercial production at the said plant has commenced. The new facility has installed annual capacity of manufacturing 6,600 MT of FIX Crystal," it said.

Gujarat State Fertilisers and Chemicals posted a sharp 89% drop in consolidated net profit to Rs 24.43 crore for the fourth quarter of 2023-24 on poor sales. Its net profit stood at Rs 224.91 crore in the same quarter in the preceding fiscal.
