Gruner Renewable Energy inks pact with BioEnergy Germany for India’s first Napier Grass Bio-CNG Plant

The first Napier Grass Bio-CNG facility in India has been announced by GRE, a well-known company in the renewable energy industry.

It is located in Lasanpur Village, in the Wardha region of Maharashtra. It is anticipated that the cutting-edge Napier Grass Bio-CNG plant will be finished in November 2023.

When fully operational, the facility will be a big step forward in India's search for cleaner and more environmentally friendly energy sources.

The collaboration between GRE and BioEnergy Germany is unique since it is the first time in the company's history that it has partnered with an Indian business to create bioenergy plants that take advantage of Napier Grass' potential.

This agreement includes the construction of 100 Bio-CNG units in India using a variety of feedstocks, including Napier grass.

With more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, BioEnergy Germany is a renowned expert in developing Biogas plants with a strong presence in over 12 countries across the globe. Overall, BioEnergy Germany has been a part of more than 300 Bio-CNG plants.
