Dodla Dairy expands footprint with 35.23-acre land in Maharashtra

Infrastructure  -  Oct 21,2024  -

Dodla Dairy has completed the acquisition of a land parcel of 35.23 acres at Itkal Village, Dharashiv district in Maharashtra. This strategic acquisition is aimed at establishing an integrated plant to better serve the surrounding Solapur district, leveraging the company's procurement network in the state.

This land acquisition will steer the integrated dairy company to enhancing its footprint in Maharashtra. Currently, Dodla procures two lakh litres of milk per day from the state, which is processed in its plants located in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The new integrated plant will be equipped with capabilities for milk condensing and powder production, which will improve operational efficiency and also expand the company's value-added product (VAP) portfolio.
