Manufacturing  -  Nov 04,2023  -

With the opening of its cutting-edge plant in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, Baerlocher India has established itself as one of the biggest producers of PVC stabilisers on a single location.

The plant will manufacture metal soaps and calcium-based PVC stabilisers, among other sustainable additives for the polymer and PVC industries.

This plant stands out for its great dedication to sustainability, which is demonstrated by its heavy reliance on solar energy, use of biomass fuel, and emphasis on renewable energy sources. In addition, the plant places a high priority on indoor environmental quality and water efficiency, which makes it a notable representation of sustainable progress in the PVC sector.

ManufacturingToday said that Baerlocher India unveiled a 500KWp rooftop solar panel installation at the new plant, marking another progressive move.

The initiative is expected to generate 0.75 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean and renewable energy annually, resulting in a substantial reduction of 698 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) emissions each year.
