Adani Total Gas partners with INOX India to boost India's LNG ecosystem

Infrastructure  -  Feb 06,2024  -

Adani Total Gas (ATGL) and INOX India (INOXCVA) have entered into a mutual support agreement, under which the two firms will accord a 'preferred partner' status for the delivery of LNG and LCNG equipment and services to explore collaboration opportunities for strengthening the LNG ecosystem in India

For ATGL, it translates into access to advanced scheduling, and collaborative opportunities for setting up LNG/LCNG stations, LNG satellite stations, transitioning to LNG as a transport fuel, LNG logistics, as well as developing small-scale liquid hydrogen solutions.

The agreement covers roles and obligations on either side to leverage the expertise of both parties to develop the LNG Infrastructure,  offer economy of scale for conversion of heavy vehicles on LNG, developing best practices towards HSE, fuel efficiency, and high-quality services.

The partnership with INOXCVA will help ATGL in advancing the phased transition of long-haul heavy vehicles, and buses currently using HSD/diesel to LNG, thereby reaping over 30 percent reduction in CO2 and GHG emissions.

For INOXCVA, this would facilitate combined synergies, backed by the expertise and scale of both companies, in reducing emissions and making significant contributions towards the green transition.
