Adani Cement is installing a new 7800t/day double-stage cooler grate at its facility in Himachal Pradesh.
This upgrade aims to increase efficiency, lower power consumption and clinker temperature and enhance waste heat recovery system performance, according to the company.
The project involves replacing the first and second grates of the existing IKN pendulum cooler.
Meanwhile, The Adani Group is planning to consolidate all cement companies under one head in the medium term, according to a note from Jefferies.
The management believes that while merger cost is not a deterrent, but the company is working towards identifying the best structure in the interest of minority and other stakeholders.
