In order to construct and run a biofuel distillery, Zuari Industries has announced that it has signed an agreement (MoU) with Envien International, Malta (EIL) and ZuariEnvien Bioenergy (ZEBPL).
The corporation declared that it would look into the commercial possibilities of both organic and inorganic biofuels in India.
To do this, the business and EIL have decided to create a 50:50 joint venture that would, among other things, design, construct, commission, and run a 150 KLPD ethanol distillery and sell the finished product to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to meet their blending requirements.
Additionally, the distillery shall be free to make Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) or any other legal product in accordance with market demand.
