Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for numerous projects under the Varanasi Smart City.
The CM inaugurated the newly constructed e-bus charging station for air-conditioned e-buses in the city, according to Varanasi Smart City spokeswoman SN Sonthalia.
The UP urban development department has allotted 700 air-conditioned e-buses across 14 cities to combat pollution and promote green public transportation, with 50 buses operating in Varanasi.
