Work on infrastructural projects to relieve traffic congestion on NH-48 between Gurugram and Jaipur might start as early as January 2022, with tenders for at least two flyovers nearing completion at Bilaspur chowk and Manesar.
Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari is expected to lay the foundation stones for the projects in January 2022.
The Delhi-Jaipur national highway is congested, particularly near Bilaspur chowk and Manesar. Flyovers in Bilaspur chowk, Bawal chowk, and Manesar are part of the Gurugram-Jaipur stretch’s refurbishment.
The elevated road in Manesar would cost Rs 90 crore to build, while the two additional flyovers will each cost Rs 23 crore.
