Work for first phase if Hassan airport begins

The first phase of the Hassan Airport in Karnataka, which would cost Rs 100 crore, has begun construction.

Work on a 536-acre plot of land has begun, including the construction of a 2.8-kilometer-long, 300-meter-wide runway.

The development of a passenger terminal building and an air traffic control room is part of Phase II. The project’s overall cost is Rs 193 crore.
