Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN) has opened a customised process unit in the Aerospace Special Economic Zone near Bengaluru International Airport as part of its aerospace business.
The 25,000-square-foot facility features a variety of specific procedures needed to produce precision machined parts for aerospace applications.
The new facility is right next door to WIN Aerospace’s first production unit, which produces structural, hydraulic actuator, and landing system parts and assemblies.
The plant’s first phase will focus on the specific processes necessary for essential actuator and landing gear components.
