In order to choose a developer for the Bandu Pumped Storage Project (Bandu PSP) in the Ajodhya Hills Area of West Bengal’s Purulia district, the Department of Power, Government of West Bengal, has issued a call for tenders.
The 900 MW (4×225 MW) Bandu pumped storage project is expected to be built using a design-build-finance-operate-transfer (DBFOT) model.
According to and in line with the terms of a concessions agreement to be entered into between the concessionaire and Department of Power, the chosen bidder will be in charge of planning, engineering, finance, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance of the project.
