Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) awarded Welspun Corp a deal of Rs 706 crore for roughly 48,000 MT.
The order is for a substantial stretch of the Mundra Panipat Crude Oil Pipeline (P25) project, which will be built to supplement crude oil intake for IOCL’s Panipat refinery expansion. The purchase will be fulfilled this fiscal year, according to the business.
Apart from the aforementioned order, the steelmaker added that it has received a total of Rs 2,450 crore in additional orders during this time period, spanning the oil and gas, city gas distribution (CGD), and water sectors in India, as well as the oil and gas industry in the United States. The majority of them are slated to be completed this fiscal year, according to Welspun Corp.
