Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility Limited, a Vadodara-based electric vehicle (EV) company, has announced the start of its 1 GWh lithium-ion battery assembly line as part of the first phase of developing an EV support cluster in Vadodara.
Yatin Gupte, the company’s chairman and managing director, stressed the importance of quality and safety as the demand for EVs grows.
He also stated that the new assembly line will make EVs more affordable, and that the company is working on expanding its battery assembly capacity and beginning production of other components in the near future.
The facility is part of the phase-1 development of the electric vehicle ancillary cluster at Vadodara in Gujarat, the company said.
