Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility, in collaboration with its Promoters and Promoters’ Group, wants to establish an EV auxiliary cluster in Vadodara. According to a press release, they have purchased four million square feet of property for the project, and construction is set to begin next month.
The land acquisition agreement was signed with the Gujarat government in December 2021, with the goal of providing a unique solution to localise and enhance the supply chain of raw materials for EV manufacture, according to the business.
According to the media release, the ancillary will manufacture essential components like, electric-motor, chassis, steel parts, lithium-ion cell manufacturing unit, lithium-ion battery assembly unit, chargers, controllers, R&D centre, production for electronic components, etc. It is expected to generate 6000 jobs in the state.
