Vridhi Iron & Steel is planning to take up new MS bars and MS channel manufacturing project in Vill – Sila, P.O. – Changsari, Dist – Kamrup, Assam. The project involves manufacturing production capacity of TMT bars 200 MT/month, M.S. round, M.S. bars 300 MT/month M.S. flat, M.S. angle, M.S. channel 500 MT/ month at the site and planning to produce MS bars 400 MT/month and MS channel 600 MT/month. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.91.9 million. The company start the construction activity on August 2023 and ends on September 2023. As of March 2023, the company has submitted the proposal with its Terms of Reference(ToR) to the Ministry of Environment and Forests. Upon getting the first stage of of clearance, the detailed project report will be presented for final environment clearance. Only after getting this clearance, work on the project will commence, subject to state pollution control board’s consent based on rules framework.
