In order to develop, produce, market, and support medical refrigeration and vaccine storage equipment in India, Tata-owned appliance company Voltas Ltd. has entered into a technical licence deal with Vestfrost Solutions of Denmark.
According to a media release, this includes cutting-edge items including ice-lined refrigerators, vaccine freezers, and ultra-low temperature freezers.
Vestfrost Solutions will supply the technology and know-how for the products’ manufacture at Voltas’ facilities in India. Vestfrost Solutions is one of the top innovators and manufacturers of cutting-edge and effective refrigerators and freezers in the bio-medical and cold chain industries.
According to the press release, this alliance will take advantage of Voltas’ great brand recognition and extensive sales and distribution network.
