Vinati Organics to invest Rs 580 crore for expansion

Due to a strong level of demand, Vinati Organics has said that it would boost its ATBS capacity from 40,000 million tonnes to 60,000 million tonnes. The ATBS capacity upgrade, which would cost $300 crore, is anticipated to be into service in December 2023.

Veeral Organics, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has received an extra 280 crore from Vinati Organics. This capital expenditure covers 30 million tonnes of iso amylene, 2,000 million tonnes of mequinol (MEHQ), and guaiacol.

These chemicals are projected to be used as polymerization inhibitors, flavours, fragrances, medications, and insecticides by September 2023. Vinati Organics is a leading manufacturer of organic and specialised chemical intermediaries with a presence on the international market in more than 35 countries.
