Following a five-year hiatus, the Vibrant Gujarat Global forum (VGGS), the state government’s premier investment forum, is anticipated to take place between January 11–13, 2024.
Before the Covid 19 epidemic ravaged the planet in 2019, the final VGGS was held. In VGGS 2019, 28,360 MoUs were signed, including ones in the renewable energy industry worth at least Rs 1 lakh crore.
A top government official told a newspaper that the state administration is getting ready for the occasion and that a final strategy to promote VGGS 2024 is being established, with promotional efforts anticipated to start in July.
The state government has earmarked a budget of Rs 127 crore to promote VGGS 2024, and efforts are being made to encourage participation from major economies, Gulf countries, and African countries.
