In order to supply industrial wastes like fly ash and spent pot liner for the production of low carbon cement, Vedanta Aluminium announced that it has entered into a long-term agreement with Dalmia Cement.
According to the agreement, Dalmia Cement’s manufacturing facilities in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, and Assam will receive approximately 20 rakes of fly ash each month for five years, as well as spent pot lining (SPL) for three years, from Vedanta’s massive aluminium smelter in Jharsuguda, Odisha.
According to a statement from the firm, Vedanta Aluminium is a favoured supplier of high-quality fly ash to some of the top cement manufacturers in the nation, supporting industrial cooperation for the creation of low-carbon cement.
