From the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and lay the foundation stones for several development projects.
He also flew over Rani Laxmibai Dweep, the Shaheed Dweep Ecotourism Project, the Swaraj Dweep Water Aerodrome, and other development initiatives.
In the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, 14 projects totaling Rs 299 crore were inaugurated, and the foundation stone for 12 projects for Rs 643 crore was laid.
The government is starting a Rs 1,000 crore development project in a small region of the Andaman Islands.
