Vardhman Textiles’ Board of Directors has approved a plan to install vortex machines to increase the company’s present spinning capacity.

The capacity expansion will require a Rs 600 crore investment, which will be funded by internal accruals and debt.

The current capacity is 12 lakh equivalent spindles, including those under construction, and the anticipated capacity expansion is 40 vortex machines, which will provide roughly 70,000 equivalent spindles.
