At Pali Cement Works in Rajasthan, UltraTech Cement has started up a 1.9 mtpa greenfield clinker-backed grinding capacity. This is a part of the initial capacity expansion phase that was revealed in December 2020.
The company and its subsidiaries currently have a 16.25 mtpa cement capacity spread over 5 different plant locations in the state of Rajasthan. The company’s total capacity for cement production in India is currently 121.35 mtpa.
The largest producer of white cement, ready-mix concrete (RMC), and grey cement in India is UltraTech Cement.
