Tunnel boring machine Varada completes 594 mtrs work for Bengaluru Metro

The Bengaluru Metro Rail’s tunnel boring machine (TBM) Varada, which was launched in March 2021 at the Rashtriya Military School station in Vellara, has reached Langford Town Metro Station after completing digging activities over a length of 594 metres.

TBM Rudra, which was launched at South Ramp in April 2021 and completed tunnelling work over a distance of 614 metres, arrived at Dairy Circle Station.

The tunnel boring machine Rudra is now passing through the station on its way from Dairy Circle Metro station to Lakkasandra Metro station.
