Trial runs begins on Dwarka Sector 21-IICC metro section

Officials have said that testing has started on the Airport Express Line’s Dwarka Sector 21-IICC metro segment.

According to DMRC CEO Vikas Kumar, who spoke on May 3, the section between Dwarka Sector 21 and the planned India International Convention Centre (IICC) is anticipated to be completed by July.

Dwarka Sector 25 (IICC) is an underground station and an expansion of the currently running Airport Express Line that connects terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport with Dwarka Sector 21 at the New Delhi Railway Station.

The New Delhi to Dwarka Sector-25 (IICC) Airport Express Line route would be 24.70 kilometres long after this segment is complete, according to the DMRC.

“Trial runs have been started on the two-kilometre long Dwarka Sector-21 to Dwarka Sector-25 (IICC) Metro section on the Airport Express Line,” it said.
