A letter of award for Rs 596 crore was given to Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) by NHDC to build a 125MWp floating solar project in Madhya Pradesh.
According to a statement released by Tata Power Company Ltd. on Wednesday, NHDC is a partnership between the government of Madhya Pradesh and state-owned hydropower juggernaut NHPC.
This project, which would be located near the Omkareshwar reservoir in the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, was the subject of an early-year NHDC invitation for bids.
The LoA was chosen through competitive tariff-based bidding. Within 13 months of the letter of award’s (LoA) date of issuance, the project will be put into operation and will supply MP Power Management Company with sustainable power.
