Tata Power revealed that it had been awarded a smart metering project in Chhattisgarh worth Rs 1,744 crore.
According to a statement by Tata Power, the order was granted by Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL).
“Tata Power is given a 1,744 crore rupee order to carry out the smart metering project in Chhattisgarh. The LOA was given in response to the CSPDCL tender, which it said was for three packages for various locations covered by the Chhattisgarh discom.
The project shall be carried out in the Raipur area (Raipur city and Raipur rural areas) of Chhattisgarh over a period of 10 years. The company will install and maintain 18.60 lakh meters in the given area, the statement said.
