Top paediatric medicare chain to set up 400 beds in Gurugram

A leading paediatric multi-specialty and prenatal care hospital chain in India, Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML), is increasing the number of beds it can accommodate in Gurugram’s two facilities, which together have a combined capacity of 400 beds.

The anticipated expansion will make the company’s current presence in the NCR stronger and give it the ability to meet the expanding healthcare requirements of the people in Gurugram and the northern states.

Greater geographic access to specialised paediatric and perinatal care services will result from the inclusion of these two facilities.

The company recently participated in the e-auction held by HSVP (Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran) and won the bids for 2 land parcels measuring 9,391 Sq. Mt. (~2.32 acres) and 4,987.10 Sq. Mt. (~1.23 acres) in sector 44 and sector 56 of Gurugram respectively. The company awaits the allotment letter from HSVP.

At present, Rainbow manages 130 beds Madhukar Rainbow Children’s Hospital located in Saket, South Delhi. This hospital offers multidisciplinary pediatric and perinatal care and is a referral center for neonatal and pediatric intensive care, bone marrow transplants, fetal scans and fetal therapies and cochlear implants.
