Sagar Cements Joint Managing Director Sreekanth Reddy said that the company would commission the clinker plant of Andhra Cements Ltd (ACL), which it purchased last year, in the middle of the current quarter.
The grinding portion of Andhra Cements and Mills was operationalized last month. For FY24, “We anticipate an additional $1 million from Andhra Cement,” Reddy stated.
Following the acquisition of Andhra Cements, the Hyderabad-based company’s FY23 has been an exciting year, one in which it fulfilled its stated target of obtaining a 10 million capacity well before 2025.
Sagar reported ₹622 crore revenue for the fourth quarter as against ₹502 crore during Q4 FY22, marking a 24 per cent growth largely driven by volume following the commission of new capacities and infrastructure activities, among others.
